Week 1 - YMCA's Eating Well with Diabetes

  • Prepare delicious, nutritious, and inexpensive recipes.

  • Manage and prevent diabetes for you or someone you love.

  • Build Carb Counting Skills.

  • Use basic cooking techniques & knife skills.

  • Use local, seasonal produce in your cooking.

Classes meet in-person once a week for 6 weeks. Each class includes a nutrition lesson and healthy recipe demo. You will receive groceries to prepare recipes at home. Participants must register for the entire 6- week class series.
